My lovely DIL,
The Equestrienne, bought
a funny looking cake pan, and made.....

.... a fabulous delicious gorgeous chocolate cake!

It looks like a chocolate scale model of the Himalayas, sprinkled with icing sugar snow and a glacier of whipped cream nestled in the middle.
OH YUM!

Now that's the type of Himalayas I'd like to climb.
I used a similar pan to make bread for novelty Christmas gifts one year. Though I would have to go with the chocolate cake with cream given a preference.
This is too cool...great treat for sure.
Passes over plate for a serving....I'll make the coffee! Looks divine. Probably tasted even better.
so festively delicious!
wow! what kind of recipe did she use?
Interesting. Don't you find that often the recipes that come with equipment are great? Same with recipes on containers for ingredients. The best chocolate frosting recipe I ever used was on the back of the box for Bakers unsweetened chocolate.
Oh wow! The cake definitely looks delicious!
All you had to say was CHOCOLATE and you had me, Sham! :)
The shape is really nice, but I guess I would be even more impressed by the taste!
Cake pan? I was going to guess that it was a Roman gladiator's hubcap for the chariot used at the games. Oh, I see it now. Yes, very nice.
Oh chocolate.. you said the magic word!
Yum is right. I can feel the pounds added to my hips just looking at it.
Nice DIL. I have one too.
Arrrggghhh! I'm reading this at 10 in the morning, two hours (at least) before lunch. And now I have a deep craving for chocolate cake.
Quiet, tummy.
Love the new header photo, by the way. At least, I think it's new. Maybe I just haven't been paying attention?
Chocolate cake with whipped cream? Count me in. Looks very tasty.
Oh my....that looks yummy.....I'll have two servings please with milk if you have any.
It looks like to die for. You are making me very hungry!
I like that cake mold. I bet I can make something awesome with it!
Yummmmmm, Indeed! I'll take three.....lol!
