  1. Interesting list. I see the only one we both read was The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes.

  3. Nice to see such a nice long list! I've read the Phillipa and Ami McKay books but I doubt that I have read any of the others. I wish you all the best in 2013!

  7. That is a good list. I also read about 40 to 45 books this year but I forgot to write down some of them. I read 2 from your list – Sarah’s Keys and The Sandcastle Girls. This is a good idea for a post – I should do one too and I may. I hope you’ll read some interesting books in 2013 and have a great year!

  10. Wow! Great list!
I also read many books last year and I have the habit to read more then one at the same time.
I am reading now the book "Too much happiness: stories", by the great Alice Munro. She is Canadian, from Whingham. I will buy her another book, "Fugitive".
I also did not finish "The Corrections" by Jonathan Franzen.
By Julian Barnes I read "The Lemon Table".

Happy New Year with many books!

  11. I don't know if I should be ashamed or inspired! Maybe I can have a goal to read ONE book this year? :)

  12. Impressive list! I've read only one of them--the one by Ann Patchett.
