A visit to the dentist is never scary when Doctor Bob's in charge.
Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

My Favourite Hockey Player
All he needs is his helmet, face mask and gloves.....
..... his skates, a hockey stick and some ice!

Transportation
When you open your mailbox, what do you find? Bills? Unwanted advertising flyers? Junk Mail and special offers that you'll never use? If your answer is "All of the above", perhaps you should try Postcrossing.
I've been a member of Postcrossing for two years now. It's a means of finding something a little more exciting in the mailbox, and also connecting with people in parts of the world that I'll probably never get the chance to visit. You can find out more from the Postcrossing symbol on my sidebar.
Currently there are more than 535,000 Postcrossers in 215 countries, all exchanging colourful postcards and messages. Every time one of my postcards is received and registered on the Postcrossing site, someone, somewhere, sends me a postcard, and then I am given another address, and another card from me is on it's way. It's as simple as that! The only costs are the cards and the stamps.
My 2015 theme for cards is TRANSPORTATION.... and look how many I've received in just a few weeks. However, I appreciate all the cards I get, they don't have to fit the theme.
L-R: USCGC Eagle from Erin in USA; a bicycle made for two from Emelie in Sweden; Streetcar from Tanya in Russia; abandoned rusting International Harvester truck from Megan in USA; Cable car in Prague from Marketa in Czech Rupublic; and in the middle, Mickey flying around the world from Xevi in Spain.
Let's keep the Post Office busy!
