TessaDog and baby Pandas

Grand-dog golden doodle Tessa came to stay for the weekend while YoungerSon went ice fishing with his mates (at -25C and -40C windchill they all have to have their heads examined IMHO) and the rest of the family went to visit their other grandma overnight. TessaDog loves coming to visit me because I actually have time to play with her and take her for long walkies (but at -25C she just gets enough time for a quick wee on the front grass, 5 minutes at the most before we both freeze).

When YoungerSon and the Bride came home from their honeymoon, they got a sweet new puppy the very next day. Not even one day to enjoy married life without any responsibilities! Hard to believe Tessa will be celebrating her 9th birthday this summer, she looks and acts like a puppy, bringing her squeaky toy to me so I'll wrestle her for it, and always overjoyed to chase a ball if she can find someone silly enough to throw it. She's very lively. Tessa spelled backwards is asset.... hmmm... I wouldn't go that far.

And more cute fur.... the twin Giant Panda cubs that were born at Toronto Zoo in October are getting mobile.

Like how you spell grand-dog. I'll adopt that spelling. Those creatures get in our hearts and homes completely, don't they?

It's bitterly cold here the last few days, in the -30s with the windchill. It's going to 8 tomorrow. This yoyo of winter temperatures is incredible.

Some dogs (and people) remain puppies forever. And they are usually the happiest.
Pandas? Ooooooh.

Cute dog is your Son and gives a lot of fun for sure. I love panda bears. * Every dog likes to jog. Pepa too. She stepped on the ice for luck near the shore and in spite of the commands of porocie not listening. Well, that she gave advice to get out of the water and it was close to shore. Regards.

Golden Doodles are supposed to be great dogs. We had a Golden Retrieve, and she was the best dog ever. But we lost her several years ago. Sounds like Tessa loves her grammy! Those pandas are really cute!

Well, Tessa is an asset however you look at it. My dog is also quick to do her business in this weather.

I like your find about the meaning behind the name Tessa. She must help family members to be pleasantly. And,oh how so cute the Panda cubs. Thank you for the video. I haven’t experienced -25 to -40 degrees C. Maybe some Canadians know how to deal with such windy frigid cold. Good for you to get warmed by cuddling Tessa. Stay warm and be healthy.

Cute pandas - although they will never know anything but captivity. :-(

It's been soooo cold here too! I don't blame you for not walking the dogs in this!
Keep warm.
Hugs

She sounds like our Granddogger SnickerDoodle.
Taking care of her from time to time is fun and exhausting.
Snicker will be 9 also. I can't believe how fast the time has gone since we both talked about these crazy dogs.
