Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head.....
April showers.... we had a few this morning, and a couple of loud claps of thunder too......
.... but the sun was shining all afternoon to apologise.
By not using your wipers, the raindrops look even better! This proves once more that rain pics cann be really nice! Taking them indoors give certain advantages for you and the camera!
Regarding your recent comment on my blog.. Please send me an email (addie is in my sidebar) and I'll help you out with putting something together. I'd be happy to do what I can. :)
Great picture. We've had a couple of dry days and I managed to mow the front lawn today. Apparently rain is on its way, though. It is April, after all.
Hello, you asked about connecting knitted squares. How I do it is by using single crochets, start at one end and single crochet in the 1st st of square A and then ch 1 and sc in 1st st of square B and then ch 1 and sc in 2nd st of square A, work around the same and do 2x in the corner st with A and B....this will connect the squares without leaving an edge or bump...try going to my blog to see more at http://crochetoholic.blogspot.com
I took a similar photo months ago (not as nice as yours), but I liked this one so much, I tried it again in last night's rainy commute. I used a manual focus on the window drops, and set it for a long exposure. It was a good idea, but my set didn't turn out quite right.
Thanks goodness for Mr. Sunshine! I like your picture. I haven't had much luck photographing rain drops.
ReplyDeleteum. you weren't driving were you? I'm the only one silly enough to take pictures while driving. Just once, I promise. And it was sunny.

ReplyDeleteCan you send a bit of sunshine over here? We've had rain all week!
ReplyDeleteThat;s a pretty shot though--I just stopped by to say hello to you and look for pics of your handsome grandson.
ReplyDeleteI do like an apologetic sunshine! How nice of it!
ReplyDeleteThe picture looks sad though. I always think raindrops on windows look sad....
Lovely, moody image, ex-S.

It looks like it may be a while before we get the sun's apology down here. (sigh)
ReplyDeleteThose are the kinds of photos I like when we've been going through times of drought

ReplyDeleteWe don't really see rain like that and almost never have thunder - very dramatic, beautiful picture of humongous raindrops!

ReplyDeleteGood capture. Hope you kept your eyes on the road. We're suppose to have thunderstorms here later on.
ReplyDeleteRain I would welcome...sun would be a miracle...but rain helps the snow melt just like the sun.
