Keep Your Fork, There's Pie!

There weren't enough blueberries for a full pie and a few peaches that were getting too ripe sitting in a basket on the kitchen counter, so I made blueberry-peach pie instead.

Apparently, it passed the taste test.

YUM! delectable photo.

(i think he's going to grow up to be a food critic...what does that wee frown mean? "hmmm...this could have gone to all peaches very easily, but the blueberries are a bit je-ne-sais-quoi. yes. on the other hand...")

Peach-blueberry pie sounds perfect.

Love the photo! That's how EVERYONE should enjoy their pies -- with their hands and all over their faces.

Yummmm - don't you love this time of year? Fresh blueberries, peaches, strawberries, nectarines, etc. etc. etc.! I'll bet your pie was delicious. Was going to bake a blueberry pie today, but ran out of time. Tomorrow is good enough.

Love your sweet little grandson. And it looks like he loves Grandma's pie!!
