Shadow

My living room window used to look out on an empty lot overgrown with wild cherry trees... so pretty in the spring.... but the land was sold for a new house to be built about six years ago, and since then, this has been my view.

Another reason to be glad I am moving.

I will be interested in seeing what you look out in from your new home! It is always sad when "progress" takes some things away from us. And it happens all too often.

Sure is a pretty stained glass detailing though.

shame that you have to look at that house, but what a gorgeous window you have there.....

So, where are you moving to?

I would find it hard to leave that window behind. :)

... except that the window is really beautiful!

looks a little haunted, too.

Hi,thanks for your visit. You are probably a more expert Scottish country dancer than I am! Interesting to hear of your unscheduled stop in Glasgow.

Having a treasured view spoilt by another building is so upsetting. Here's hoping for clearer views in your new abode.

Are you able to take the window with you, Sham? I'm guessing not. What a shame to leave both behind.
