Thunder and lightning in the night, and torrential rain thundering on the roof. I was happy to stay in bed warm and dry and listen to it all. Up early, still a bit dark, and I saw something moving on the deck.
The poor little chap was soaked. I think he was looking for a towel.

He looks so sad and forlorn, but I know you're smart enough not to fall for it!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh... but they can also be quite vicious from what I saw when we lived in Illinois.
ReplyDeletePoor little wet creature - still, they're built for the outdoor life, despite how pathetic they can look.
ReplyDeleteGood job taking a photo but not inviting him in.
ReplyDeleteThank you for remembering 3.11 every year. I’m still so sad for the lives lost and at the same time I’m amazed with the incredible resilience of the Tohoku region.
ReplyDeleteYoko
I wonder if that raccoon is one that has been tamed - unusual to see one that close to a building, even in heavy rain.
ReplyDelete...did you give him one?
ReplyDeleteHe looks so sad. He'll cheer up when the sun comes out.
ReplyDeleteA towel and 12 other things, ha.
ReplyDeleteI think they are only ever looking for food!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! Though he looks a little sad!
ReplyDeleteAww Poor thing.
ReplyDeletePoor little critter !
ReplyDeleteI hope you give him the towel ;)

Awwww...poor little guy.
ReplyDeleteHe looks soaked!
ReplyDeleteIt is a pity to see a poor little fellow looking so soaked and bedraggled on the deck after such a heavy night of thunder and lightning. I have always thought that there is no better feeling than staying tucked away warm and dry in bed while the torrential rain thunders on the roof.

ReplyDeleteAw, the poor guy! It sounds like miserable weather to be out in.
