Wet

Thunder and lightning in the night, and torrential rain thundering on the roof. I was happy to stay in bed warm and dry and listen to it all. Up early, still a bit dark, and I saw something moving on the deck.

The poor little chap was soaked. I think he was looking for a towel.

  2. Oh my gosh... but they can also be quite vicious from what I saw when we lived in Illinois.

  3. Poor little wet creature - still, they're built for the outdoor life, despite how pathetic they can look.

  5. Thank you for remembering 3.11 every year. I’m still so sad for the lives lost and at the same time I’m amazed with the incredible resilience of the Tohoku region.

  6. I wonder if that raccoon is one that has been tamed - unusual to see one that close to a building, even in heavy rain.

  13. It is a pity to see a poor little fellow looking so soaked and bedraggled on the deck after such a heavy night of thunder and lightning. I have always thought that there is no better feeling than staying tucked away warm and dry in bed while the torrential rain thunders on the roof.
