Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.
How adorable these are. I have a little pattern for baby shoes to knit. It's the next on my list, after I finish the bunny I'm knitting right now. I have a new baby coming into my life, not my own of course, but to be born to a friend of mine.
and bless his wooly boots! They are lovely! I love the blue ones... I must admit that during the colder nights I have been known to wear something similar myslef although not as nice as those! (I drop more loops than I keep on the needles! I wonder where they go until I see the big holes and then I realise... it's not where they, it's where they don't go!)
It's a cold day here in the U.K. Do you by any chance have any size eights knitted? Perhaps a beige colour would be suitable, this would blend in with the pavement as I go shopping. People would not then notice my different than usual footwear.
Lucky little Callum:) I can see him admiring his toes in those blue socks... It's easy to see he already has his Granny completley in thrall. Lucky Granny too:) I've had a good time catching up on your most recent posts..love the old tree returning to dust..
Awww...these are so cute. I'll bet he will look like a million buck in those.
ReplyDeleteOh how cute! Those will surely keep his little feet nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteLot's of detail in such a small space! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOoh! So sweet. He should look very smart in these.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about baby things that immediately makes us say "Awwww?" Very nicely done. :)
