After Monday's melty puddles, I thought Spring was on the way.... but it seems I was mistaken.
Winter hasn't given up yet. Another six inches of the white stuff overnight. This is getting
$#@*&$#@!!! very tiresome. No wonder the main topic of conversation in Canada is the weather.
Toronto Star video here.
Hi, That language is very reserved considering your weather, mind I would have loved just a little snow here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteYup, I'm still shoveling. It's dense, heavy, wet snow.. and far too much of it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunny weather here!
ReplyDeleteyes, we'd have liked just a little snow here in london
ReplyDeletesorry to say so!
those bootees are great, aren't they? its a very very old pingouin pattern - over 20 years old i think. If you leave me your email address i could scan and send it to you.
its fun to do - and people i've made them for say they stay on well cos of those ribbed ankles.
:o)
ha! WOW thats snow..
ReplyDeletethis has been a long lasting winter! great shot!
ReplyDeleteDitto in Idaho.....snow Monday and Tuesday.....another 8 inches but it is wet messy stuff and I can't even lift a shovel of it. I feel like i have been living in a snow cave all winter.
ReplyDeleteIt tried to snow here Friday but didn't amount to anything but we could still get hit again. I like your reflection shots. Lloyd and Ranger.
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Wisconsin I loved to go out and snow blow my driveway and street. Once outside I blew out my neighbors driveways too. It was fun for me. Now, in Arkansas, there are no snow blowers and there is no snow (well, hardly any). I shall have to move north again and hire myself out, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteHow true!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh you have a lot of snow. I sure hope you see an end to this very soon
ReplyDeleteOh myyy. My hub's grandparents just left Florida to go back to Ontario... is this what they're getting into? :(
ReplyDeleteHang in there!!! Swearing is stress relief, btw. LOL
Oh my, that definitely isn't Spring. It makes me cold just looking at it.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, but its beautiful here....
Oh my....I thought the melt was on for you! It is 50F here today...supposed to get to 60....but then we have "snow showers" for the weekend. Who knows! March is a CRAZY month!
ReplyDeleteHope your snow doesn't stay too long :)
Send some of it over! No. Wait. It's almost springtime here Uhm... Next December??? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat great snow. We're getting a lot of snow here in New Mexico but I bet it isn't anything like what you are getting....
ReplyDeletey'know, i LOVE seeing that snow and all those puddles, etc.....from a distance. i think winter would actually to tolerable among canadians. and hey, the babe of the century is over two weeks old!! more photos, gran!!
ReplyDeleteoh, and p.s....please go back and click the "helsinki complaints choir". riotous!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lotta snow! I rehearsed in Toronto for 3 months (on Queen St. East, and we lived above Yong n Bloor, was awesome!) from March 12th 'til May in '03, and we never saw that much snow. SOME yes, I remember it snowed once and the piles built up at the sides of the road, but nothing like you're having now. Just take care, (and seek shelter n Tim Horton's in the Eaton Center was what I always did!)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sending me some of your cold and deep snow which I enjoyed so much ...
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm sitting in a beautifully warm and sunny room in the West Country UK looking out at green moorland and primroses :-)
Viking Warrior would have come out with the full expletive!
ReplyDeleteIt's still cold and miserable here with a little snow on the hills. I've got to get out with the dog and try to lift this awful doom laden feeling I've had since Joe and Kerry went away.
How's Callum? My little grandson is coming over from Japan with No.1 son and daughter-in-law in April so something to look forward to, and we've just booked a three week holiday in Peru at the end of April when he's gone back!
Spoilt rotten I am.
Ok, it's time for you to come to SF now! it's cooled of the past two days, down to the low 60s during the day. Yup, time for you to come for a holiday to the Bay Area!
ReplyDeleteThat's a damn shame about all that snow. By July, it will all seem like a bad dream.
ReplyDeleteWith your amazing Canadian dollars against the US dollar right now, you should consider buying a condo in Miami so you can spend your winter there. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's cold in NYC too. And it's been raining a lot lately.
