Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.
Oh wow those are some neat photos the reflection is great. I am so glad that your starting to thaw out some. Sun is shining here but the wind has been howling all night. Must be March
Spring is just around the corner. It's time to turn the clocks ahead on Saturday night! I was just looking at a plant catalogue, dreaming of what I can add this spring.
I look at these photos and think of all the runoff it will give. If only we had it for Atlanta! But actually, it's raining here as we speak. We are little by little gaining back what we have lost over the last couple years. I hope!
I'll drink a cup of tea (with milk and 1 blue 'sugar') while you thaw. We've had blue sunny skies for 4-5 days straight, had lunch outside yesterday. Hurray for spring!

ummhum....the melt started and then someone figured it was bad timing....more snow and lots of it all day long.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear everything is melting! beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteI stepped in some of those puddles today too... not nearly as lovely as yours.. and just a tad south.
ReplyDeleteThat thaw is supposed to be short-lived with more snow starting tomorrow night, but at least it felt like a step closer to spring.
A bit dull sometimes, the in-between season... but it means that spring is on its way!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections.. I thought you lived in an upside down world when your page loaded.. ;o)
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr think I can handle the hot summers better than those cold winters you have up there.....

Terrific pictures of the reflections in the melting snow. So happy to hear you are on a "warming" trend....
ReplyDeleteLovely picts. My Mom is still complaining about how much snow they're getting in the Ottawa Valley. I'm sure she'd love to switch ;)
ReplyDeleteBTW, sorry for my "slow" blog, but I'm often out of energy lately. I just can't seem to get the kick-off right now. But I'll be back :)
Oh, Sunday was great!!! I went about with no coat or scarf or hat or gloves. Ah, freedom!
ReplyDeleteAnd then it got cold again. Now, where did I put that scarf?
Does that mean spring is on its way????
