Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

Short Back and Sides, Please!
The only way to get all the mud and spiky little green seeds out of Tessa's coat after last week's mudbathwas a complete luxurious (and expensive) makeover at the doggy spa...
Reply to Changes: It's not a muzzle, it's a Halti head collar, it doesn't affect her mouth at all, and she's very gentle, and has never been known to bite. It just gives a bit more control when she's outside or walking on a leash. Have a look here: http://www.arfpnc.com/head_collars.htm
I have not seen this type of head collar either...wonder if it would work with my Clancy boy? He is a mess with walking and the prong collar just work so so on walks....
The head collar does control and help teach these young pups a few manners. Granddaughter's Snicker has a leash that does the same type of thing. We get her Friday night and all day Saturday. Haven't had her overnight before. It will be interesting. Tessa is beautiful after her Spa treatment. Hope she can stay out of the mud and nettles for a while.
Kiki sends warm greetings to Tessa! But dear friend, I have written my new address to you, where is it? I am leaving Joensuu today for Lahti and will go again to see all my grandchildren there in the southern part of Finland. Good day to you and all your beloved ones!
Sure it was a doggie spa....i bet Tessa would disagree a little. violet is due too....she has stickers, sap with grass stuck to her paws and heaven only knows what else.
Much better but why do you keep her mouth nuzzled? Does she bite or bark? am sure it doesn't hurt her but is looks kind of mean:(

ReplyDeleteShe looks very lovely and ladylike now. There is something about a female in mud, though...
