Red, White and Blue

On Tuesday evening, Music Mania performed our "Special Show" for nursing home residents and disabled people. We had a full auditorium and did our show "Around the Roundabout" in front of a very noisy, enthusiastic and appreciative crowd.

If only all our audiences would be so responsive!

After the show it was picture taking time.... don't you just love our costumes? Chorus people wore Blue with Union Jacks for the first half, and in the second half, the ladies wore Red with Welsh and Scottish flags, and the men wore Green vests with an Irish flag.

And one of our talented chorus members decided the chorus ladies needed sparkly earrings.... and made these for everyone!

Swarovski crystals too! This pic doesn't really show off the mega-sparkle.

  1. I'm sorry I haven't been by. I know you were out of commission for a while as far as your computer goes. I've been sort of out of it too, but not my computer.

Your costumes are interesting...I love your earrings. We always have some very flashy ones with out outfits. One lady in the chorus is very creative and always comes up with some good ones.

    A new grandbaby! How exciting!

  2. I see you..!
I'm sure your audience was appreciative. It's obvious there is a huge amount of work, rehearsal and costume making that goes into the production.
    Well done.

  4. That's so cool that someone made all of you earrings. It must have taken quite a little while to do that. God bless her.

  10. Wish I could have been there. it looks like a fabulous show with so much hard work put into it. No one knows how much behind the scenes work goes into these things until they work it themselves. Sorry I haven't been by for a while. Our conference took up all my energy too.
