If you remember the music of Queen, this show is for you.
We Will Rock You is a futuristic tale of the loss of the music.... of the "age of Boy Bands and Girl Bands. Of Boy and Girl Bands. Of Girl Bands with a couple of boys in them that look like girls anyway."
And a tale of the Bohemians living beneath the cities. Rebels who search for a hero to find the legendary mighty guitar buried in time and bring the real rock music back....
Don't miss it.... it's a great show. I was so enthusiastic about it that OlderSon and The Equestrienne have booked tickets. And OlderSon refuses to see shows with singing and dancing.... but I know he'll love it!
Hope it comes here. MP and Muppet's Mum have just seen Billy Elliot and described it as awesome.
ReplyDeletetotally awesome dude! :D
ReplyDeletesounds like something I'd love to see. Glad you enjoyed it!
It's been playing for quite a while so it must be good. I think my daughter saw it too.
ReplyDeleteLooks cool but I haven't seen it. So many things to do and so little time!
ReplyDeleteHaven't been to the theatre for ages, but will keep my eyes open for this!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun, the hard rock equivalent to Mama Mia.
ReplyDeleteHave a super time Shammy. I know you will.
ReplyDeleteFrank and I have been debating about Jersey Boys.. but now that you mention We Will Rock You, I'll have to look into that one. Thanks for the thumbs up.
ReplyDeletewe don't have the right accommodations here...but maybe in Spokane. I would love to see this.
ReplyDeleteIt will probably never make it to our little town....sigh..
ReplyDeleteGreetings to you and Callum!
ReplyDeleteI just came from Melli`s home, where I was nursing her during weekend.
I looked at photos of Callum
`s outdoors walking and it was like Melli`s wondering all things, what we can see now, when snow is gone - almost around Melli`s home.
All the best for you both!
i can meow bohemian rhapsody.
ReplyDeleteQueen is one of those bands that I just can't help but sing along with, while driving. (Windows closed) I seem to be able to recall the words effortlessly, and blurt it all out... falsettos included.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that if I saw that show, I might be too tempted to sing along and end up being escorted out of there by security.
I think you'll have a blast! I love Queen. Brings me back to a time when life was easier......
ReplyDeleteI agree with craver on this one.
ReplyDeleteI hope it shows up around my area...sounds great.
ReplyDeletei walked under the giant Freddie statue in London, at the theatre, again yesterday....
ReplyDeletedoes sound like a good show
It's nice and necessary to get rocked now and then! :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the mug shots of the date.
ReplyDeleteWhen I listen to some of the later songs you now know that Mercury knew he was dying. Something I didn't notice at the time.
ReplyDeleteI had a look at the Maple syrup gathering and processing. I had no idea it was done this way. Never too old to learn.
more photos of Callum, please!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from East Finland - still snowy !
ReplyDeleteBut next week we hopefully will see landscapes without snow, when we will go to China :)
I wish you and your family happy spring days and hopefully we will "see" again after our journey!
just popping in to say "Hi!"
ReplyDeletehas spring hit the great white north yet?
