Colours

Outside, it's been so cold and windy, and everything is painted in black and white and grey. Typical February weather in Ontario. It seems that I haven't set eyes on green grass for so long. I miss it!

So when my former neighbours came for lunch and brought me these lovely flowers, the world brightened up considerably. I'm really looking forward to Spring.

I brought my partner some tulips for her birthday/valentines day (I know I'm a cheapskate!). The touch of colour really was beautiful.

I also saw a snowdrop in a hedgerow the other day. It was a little splash of beauty that made my day a little happier.

Green grass everywhere here and that's unheard of in February. Nature has gone off the rails.

Don't worry, real spring will soon be there! (We have spring temperatures in Paris right now, so welcome!)

We've been blessed with amazing weather the past 2 weeks, you should have been here. But the rain is coming back this week. Might have to get a bouquet of beautiful spring flowers like this one to make it though the week.

What sweet friends you have. Those flowers would brighten the dullest day.
