Turning the Pages 2014

My annual list of the books I`ve read throughout 2014. Here are my previous reading lists for 2013, 2012, 2011, and 2010. I'd recommend all these books, except the ones I didn't finish!

I discovered American authors Billie Letts and Chevy Stevens.... both authors set their novels in America, which usually doesn't appeal to me as it's not part of my growing up.... but I really enjoyed their books.

  2. Boy, I'm so out of the reading loop. I don't know why....maybe too many senior moments now.
I really need to get back to such a wonderful pastime.
    Thanks for the list.

  3. I've enjoyed a few of the same books. I'm going to have to explore more of your reading list now!

I like Letts also and have read them all. The Illicit Happiness of Other People is one that I quite enjoyed though it nearly lost me at one point.. it got much better again. I have to agree with you about The Enchanted Life of Adam Hope.. my favourite book of the year. From your list, I've also read and enjoyed Secret Daughter and The 100 Year Old Man.. etc.

  6. Most interesting list of books. I've read (and seen video of) SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS. Fascinated that, as the days grow longer, you seem to spend more time reading books! Me, too.

I haven't read the J.K. Rowling you did. Just finished one called SILKWORM by her pseudonymous Robert Galbraith. Absolutely HATED it. goddess. How could she do this to us??

  8. Hi there....I realize now how out of the reading loop I've fallen. Hubby just retired in September and we have moved to a little town just outside of St. John's for my work, so I guess that's a good reason/excuse....for now!!
LOVE YOUR BLOG!!! I'll be back :)
