Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

Interloper
....... intruder, trespasser, incomer, squatter, gate-crasher, uninvited guest, unwanted visitor, an invasive species has reared its head in my hanging flower basket.
But you have to give those dandelions points for perseverance!
Dandelions always find a way! They are pretty in their own way. I remember that I loved it when they tried to take over our yard every year when I was a kid. That is a very pretty bunch of flowers, even with it!
I root for dandelions (not in your basket, of course - that's up to you.) I think they're flowers, can be pretty, and only get a bad rap because... well, I've never been able to figure that out, actually :-)
And you can make wine from them, so there's that in their favour!
Anybody would think you don't like it.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly do; we breed them over here...
ReplyDeleteYup. They have world domination plans. And will probably succeed.
ReplyDeleteYou mow them down and they come right back. They are tough, they are survivors, they are a nuisance.
ReplyDeleteHaha, you have to admire its nerve. I bet it's gone now though. :D
ReplyDeleteAmazingly hardy too. Loved this post!
ReplyDeleteYep, one has to admire that indeed. Warm greetings to you!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness even on a flower pot a dandelion shows up!
ReplyDeleteA proud flower, too, by the looks of it. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Nice.
ReplyDeleteI have lots more of those if you'd like them!
ReplyDeleteAt least it's not trying to hide Shammi, it's bold, brash and confidently out there 😀😀
