Interloper

....... intruder, trespasser, incomer, squatter, gate-crasher, uninvited guest, unwanted visitor, an invasive species has reared its head in my hanging flower basket.

But you have to give those dandelions points for perseverance!

  3. Yup. They have world domination plans. And will probably succeed.

  4. You mow them down and they come right back. They are tough, they are survivors, they are a nuisance.

  12. Dandelions always find a way! They are pretty in their own way.
I remember that I loved it when they tried to take over our yard every year when I was a kid. That is a very pretty bunch of flowers, even with it!

  13. I root for dandelions (not in your basket, of course - that's up to you.) I think they're flowers, can be pretty, and only get a bad rap because... well, I've never been able to figure that out, actually :-)

And you can make wine from them, so there's that in their favour!
