Freezing Fog

Boxing Day morning dawned cold and foggy and still.
My back yard was transformed into a fairyland of delicate blossoms of ice crystals. Jack Frost had visited in the night.

  4. Henry David Thoreau said, "It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see." Your pictures wonderfully capture our attention so that the beauty of creation does not go unnoticed, and I have to thank you for that. Right now I'm thinking that if I ever lost my sight, I would surely miss it. The details and texture of the frost... it's magical!

  8. These pictures are amazing. Really beautiful. Thanks for visiting my blog. I tried to find a repeat of the segment I wrote about on the BBC website, but it looks as if they put stuff on a week in arrears. I then googled the name of the segment, and the first thing that came up was my blog entry. Maybe they'll have it on the BBC website next week.
