Puppy Tessa recently paid a visit to the doggy beauty parlour to get a summer haircut.
Before....
.... and after.
She's so full of bouncy energy, I'm amazed that she sat still long enough to lose all that fur!
I'm puppysitting next weekend while YoungerSon and The Bride are sightseeing in NYC.... wish me luck!
First 2 pics taken by YoungerSon.
That's adorable. Isn't it amazing how much taller/long-legged they look after their haircut? My neighbour's dog is a schnauzer/poodle mix (a schnoodle?) and she's the tiniest tall-as-she-is-wide bundle of black curly fur.. until she gets the clipping. Then she's suddenly a slender, long-legged REAL dog. Too cute. Good luck with the babysitting.
ReplyDeleteBouncy energy..perfect description of our son's labradoodle, Snicker. 6 months old and so full of love. She forgets she can knock us over with her "love".
ReplyDeleteTess is too cute with her new "do". I wish you much fortitude and enjoyment when dog-sitting.
My son says we have 3 granddaughters and 1 granddogger.
What cute photos! I'm sure you'll have a great time together and I can't wait to hear all about it :) In the meantime, we'll be doing some serious gardening tomorrow, so the blog will have to wait. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteMaybe if you unplug the AC current [last pic] from the pup?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if I'd look as skinny as that if I cut off my beard.
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable! All set now for the summer when it gets hot, I guess?
ReplyDeleteaww she looks so skinny! she looks like a velvety toy dog

ha! what a differance...
ReplyDeleteWishing you luck in your puppy sitting!
ReplyDeleteI like the before pic. Wheaton? or this a labradoodle?
ReplyDeletewonderful hair cut!
ReplyDeletelook at those long legs and big paws...soooo cute
He does look a bit dorkier with his new haircut, but he will be so much cooler this summer AND the fur WILL grow back.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, puppy Tessa looked half her size without all that fur on the back and sides.
ReplyDeleteHave fun puppysitting! I used to do that a lot in college and loved every part of it. It's like having a pet without the full time responsibility.
So cute! Thanks for pointing me to these!
