Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.
Now that there is a TOAD!
Oh my goodness i enlarged the photo and you really can see all those warts, fantastic shot
oooh, he looks quite big! And you say he has family and friends back there as well? I hope you have a big yard!
Ah, awesome shot, he really blends nicely, doesn't he!?I appreciate you coming by and seeing my damselfly, yes, it is only a face, a mother could love but a treat I am sure your toad would love to get! LOLHave a good week!
I LOVE toads and frogs.
I tried to post you a link to a little hotel I drove past a while back called the Wind In The Willows.. In Glossop Derbyshire... it was a charming place and one many stories could be written about.
That is one handsome toad!!! I'm glad that Tessa never found it.
the toad is camouflaged pretty well.
Great shots he is a bit lumpy,I bet it sounds interesting around your place sometimes. Lloyd and Ranger
Handsome fellow? Hmmmm - what is it about beauty being in the eye of the beholder? And a face only a mother could love? I'm catching up on your blog and enjoying all your wonderful photos. You have an artist's eye.
I have never seen a toad like that before! WOW, he's impressive!
So why not kissing him - or do you have a prince already?
I suppose they also offer some nice concerts for you!
Some family and friends you have to accept Warts and all....This is one large toad. Good pictures too.
Very handsome! Woot to the toad family! What wonderful neighbours you have! ;o)
Hmm...think I'd rather have my possum than your toad. Not too fond of either.
He looks absolutely gorgeous. Awesome. I hope to come back and see more of his family.
Toads are wonderful in the garden. They eat so many nasty insects. Nice shot.
