Toad of Toad Hall
Meet Mr Toad... to be more precise, Mr American Toad (Bufo americanus).
He lives in my back yard with his family and friends.
Ah, awesome shot, he really blends nicely, doesn't he!? I appreciate you coming by and seeing my damselfly, yes, it is only a face, a mother could love but a treat I am sure your toad would love to get! LOL Have a good week!
I tried to post you a link to a little hotel I drove past a while back called the Wind In The Willows.. In Glossop Derbyshire... it was a charming place and one many stories could be written about.
Handsome fellow? Hmmmm - what is it about beauty being in the eye of the beholder? And a face only a mother could love? I'm catching up on your blog and enjoying all your wonderful photos. You have an artist's eye.
Now that there is a TOAD!

ReplyDeleteoooh, he looks quite big! And you say he has family and friends back there as well? I hope you have a big yard!

Very handsome! Woot to the toad family! What wonderful neighbours you have! ;o)
ReplyDeleteHandsome? Toadally!
ReplyDeleteHmm...think I'd rather have my possum than your toad. Not too fond of either.
ReplyDeleteHe looks absolutely gorgeous. Awesome. I hope to come back and see more of his family.
ReplyDeleteToads are wonderful in the garden. They eat so many nasty insects. Nice shot.
