The Toronto area has had it's wettest summer in 70 years.
From June 1 to August 10, it has rained on 41 of 71 days. A veritable washout.
Lots of isolated thundershowers. And more to come.
This was one of them. Someone over there is getting very wet!
We've become "Seattle East" down here in Massachusetts. We're already beyond the average yearly precipitation for our area. And we're not getting friendly little storms, either. Huge lightning and thunderclaps. It gets scary at times.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, that's a lot of rain. I bet all that wet is making Florida look better all the time.
ReplyDeleteGreat storm capture.
We've had more rain this summer than last...but we could use some more!! I wish you could send some of that our way.
ReplyDeleteI see the "countdown" to Florida has begun :)
It HAS been a wet summer, hasn't it? Sure beats the drought we had last year, though! This will give the trees and shrubs a chance to recover...if they don't drown, that is. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe need some of that down here; please send it along.
ReplyDeleteI've never experienced a very wet summer.
ReplyDeleteWow! you've had some extreme weather this summer. great shot!
ReplyDeleteIdaho probably sent the most recent storms....we have had a dry summer after the 3rd worst winter in recorded Idaho history.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad someone else is getting as wet as us!!! It gets tedious after awhile!
ReplyDeleteDennis wonders what color is your umbrella?
ReplyDeleteStop hogging all the moisture! We have been declared an agricultural disaster area because it's so dry. And we are experiencing another heat wave. Most of August so far has been in the high 20's, low 30's, with approx. half an inch of rain. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteIf they had to get wet over there, I hope they were able to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot....sorry about your bad weather! It was rainy when we drove thru in July!!!!
ReplyDeletegreat photo. hope the rain isn't causing any flooding....
ReplyDeleteWow, we need some of that rain. It's super dry here, our lakes and reservoirs are very low.
ReplyDeleteNow all I can think of is all those incredible skies for all those days!!! I just LOVE rainstorms. :)
ReplyDeleteAt least you won't have to worry water rationing like those drought riden cities on the west coast.
ReplyDeleteStay dry.
And another huge thunder boomer last night. Sure is a rainy season. I have a photo of last Thursday's clouds which I'll be posting soonish. It's been amazing.
