Downpour

The Toronto area has had it's wettest summer in 70 years.
From June 1 to August 10, it has rained on 41 of 71 days. A veritable washout.
Lots of isolated thundershowers. And more to come.

This was one of them. Someone over there is getting very wet!

  1. We've become "Seattle East" down here in Massachusetts. We're already beyond the average yearly precipitation for our area. And we're not getting friendly little storms, either. Huge lightning and thunderclaps. It gets scary at times.

  2. My goodness, that's a lot of rain. I bet all that wet is making Florida look better all the time.
    Great storm capture.

I see the "countdown" to Florida has begun :)

  4. It HAS been a wet summer, hasn't it? Sure beats the drought we had last year, though! This will give the trees and shrubs a chance to recover...if they don't drown, that is. ;-)

  11. Stop hogging all the moisture! We have been declared an agricultural disaster area because it's so dry. And we are experiencing another heat wave. Most of August so far has been in the high 20's, low 30's, with approx. half an inch of rain. Sigh.

  17. At least you won't have to worry water rationing like those drought riden cities on the west coast.

    Stay dry.
