Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

Storm at Sunset
Pictures taken 5 minutes ago in my back yard....
.... of a very ordinary sunset reflected in storm clouds to the east.
The interesting thing about these pics is that to the west the sunset was almost non-existent.... but the reflection on the storm clouds to the east was stunning.
Looks very dramatic, if you ask me. Did the Storm hit you? Hope not.
btw. I'm now back in Old Norway, after a long voyage. Nearly 7 hours by Car from St Paul to O'Hare (Chicago) and via Bruxelles to Oslo. My luggage did not follow me. So I feel a bit "naked". Next Time Ontario will be on my route.
looks like you captured this just in time, to get a great sunset shot and not to be effected by the storm!
ReplyDeletedang girl! that's gorgeous! i don't think i've ever seen a sunset like that in person. Color me jealous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Thanks for sharing that sunset with us. It was a good one!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skies! Did you know Northern Skies are quite different from our down here? -- usually more expansive feeling -- and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNothing ordinary about that sky! Lovely.

ReplyDeleteDennis says your clouds are nicer than his. Nicer colors. Dennis thinks you know what's what, so he's inviting you to analyze some stuff.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors.
ReplyDelete(Oops! Sorry! COLOURS, in your case.)

ReplyDeleteThe pale pink/lavender colors are awesome!
ReplyDeleteAre we being unfair to pogles on Martin's blog encouraging him to tussel with Martin in the drinking stakes?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. The many storms we've been getting over the last couple of weeks sure have produced some beautiful sunsets. Well captured.
