Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

Bye Bye Christmas
Christmas is back in the box. Actually, three boxes.
Safely stowed away in the furnace room until needed in 11 months time.
Goodness you are organised...there it is, Christmas all tidy and labelled up!...whereas I tend to throw it all in carrier bags! - very bad...I must take a leaf out of your book and get organised in 2012.
I enjoyed reading your past posts – what happened with the Sears chairs? the season went fast for me as I spent the first 10 days in bed but we enjoyed New Year with daughter and family in Nashville. I am trying to get caught up with friends’ blogs before I post again – don’t know how long it will take me. I hope that 2012 will be good to you and yours.
Christmas has left our building, too. I was surprised at myself that I didn't want to leave them up for a few more weeks, but I was ready to pack it up.
It will happen sometime in January for us but not yet. Give me at least 2 more weeks! :) My feeling is it takes too long to put it all up to not leave it up for as long as possible (not caring what the neighbors think!).
It looks rather sad to me.....But then.....
ReplyDeleteWishing you the Best 2012, my dear.....

ReplyDeleteYour "Christmas" is a lot more neatly packed than mine ever is!
ReplyDeleteChristmas sure is neat when it's not December. ;)

ReplyDeleteI too boxed up my Christmas tree and decorations today. I find it depressing to take the decorations off!
