A family picnic on Toronto Island, and what a view! The Rogers Centre stadium roof was open (formerly known as SkyDome before Mr. Rogers purchased it) for the Blue Jays game. YoungerSon bought a family pass for Centreville, the small amusement park, and the kids spent most of the day on the rides. A lot of happy faces. More pictures to come.....
What a glorious view! I would almost thing it is the New York skyline.

What great pictures, I wonder what time of day you took them.
ReplyDeleteI would love to know what sort of camera you have?
First picture was about 9:30 in the morning, the other two were taken at lunch time.
ReplyDeleteWent there a number of times, mostly with Sue in the late sixties. I think we were last there ~1976 for a picnic and we did visit that little amusement park. Somewhere I have a pic of daughter on a pony.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pictures. Thanks for visiting and commenting.
ReplyDeleteLooks splendid. I love the contrast between the green island, the water and the city beyond.
ReplyDeleteHi, there!

The city of Toronto is so beaufitul. The sky-piercing tower looks like Tokyo Sky Tree.
