Island Life

The view of the city from the ferry across the harbour to Toronto Island.

A family picnic on Toronto Island, and what a view! The Rogers Centre stadium roof was open (formerly known as SkyDome before Mr. Rogers purchased it) for the Blue Jays game. YoungerSon bought a family pass for Centreville, the small amusement park, and the kids spent most of the day on the rides. A lot of happy faces. More pictures to come.....

  6. Went there a number of times, mostly with Sue in the late sixties. I think we were last there ~1976 for a picnic and we did visit that little amusement park. Somewhere I have a pic of daughter on a pony.

  8. Looks splendid. I love the contrast between the green island, the water and the city beyond.

  10. The city of Toronto is so beaufitul. The sky-piercing tower looks like Tokyo Sky Tree.
