Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

Where's Waldo.... 550 pieces.
It took hours and hours, but we found Waldo. A great way to keep three adults and three children busy throughout a freezing cold New Year's Eve afternoon.
There was fierce competition for who would put in the final piece.
Isaac won the privilege by keeping one piece in his pocket and producing it at the last minute, when everyone else was about to panic.
Well done all, I think that would have driven me crazy, so many pieces with so much design! Clever Isaac, now there’s an 8 year old going to do well 👍🙂
OMG! How did you do that. I've not done a puzzle like this for years; in fact, I probably never did a puzzle quite like that. I'm amazed. Congratulations! That's got to give you great satisfaction!
I was having fun with my daughter too. Isaac was clever, but also a bit dishonest. * I now learn to walk properly, but my spine does not respond and it hurts. Regards.
Well, that's the way to win!! That's a huge and complicated puzzle...my patience would be quite thin by the end. I agree that our peach tree is on it's last leg...the damp weather brought out the fungus and kind of sealed its fate.
Quite a good sized one! I've done a few of these puzzles. I remember being driven crazy looking at sky pieces for one of the Taj Mahal.

ReplyDeleteIsaac certainly thinks ahead.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I don't remember the last jigsaw I did. Decades ago? Perhaps.
What fun! And such patience needed.

ReplyDeleteIsaac sounds rather resourceful..!
ReplyDeleteThat's a big puzzle with kids involved. I'm glad it went well.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's quite the accomplishment. I haven't done one of these in years. Congrats to you all.

Isaac is now my role model for the next puzzle session - naughty or not, I will follow his example!
