March 2 ART

Well, I've made it to Day 2 of my personal March Art challenge....that's an achievement in itself. I watched a few "how to" You Tube art videos this morning, and then I was inspired to get the gelli plate out. These prints were made with maple leaves that I picked up last fall and pressed them in an old sketch book. Perhaps some of them can be used as covers for bookbinding.

    1. Nice to have these bright colours when it's still Canadian winter outside.

  2. Simple - and truly delightful. I refuse to even attempt to choose a favourite.

    1. I knew I would find a use for all those handfuls of pretty maple leaves. Now they are all covered in paint!

  4. Have you ever made a paper quilt for exhibit? This looks like the start of one.

    1. Never made a paper quilt but have certainly made fabric versions. And my grandies and I are doing a triangle project.... or at least we got started, but the finish date seems to be a long time coming.

  5. Nice to know you’ve gotten active recently in your art activity. It’s one of the beneficial pastimes. My favorite is the red one at the bottom. Take care and have happy, creative days ahead.
