Yummm, a great way to start the day, a walk in the crunchy snow with your hubby and a special meal together. it doesn't get any better.
ReplyDeletePretty picture of the snow covered plant too. Stay warm and enjoy the weekend.
Since it never gets below 0c here, -18c. is very COLD for us. We were in the eastern provinces in 2002 and this pic in your capital was taken in October and it was below freezing then. I have 2 fleece jackets on and two other layers underneath that!
ReplyDeleteWhat an extravagance, having others to prepare and serve breakfast, just like that? I can't remenber last time we ha such luxery, but during our 5 week vacation in US and Canada last summer, and a couple of saturday mornings at IKEA and.. LoL.
ReplyDeleteBreakfast at Restaurant a Saturday morning sounds so nice to have and a good start for the Weekend.
We too, have had some very cold winternights and days here in Norway, but in Oslo only about -15 C. And -11C during the Day. But now around -4 to 6 C.
The picture you posted is a very good weather-report. Says more than 1000 words.
Have a beautiful Sunday ;-)
O-X and I do that often when we're in Canada. I think it's such a wonderful small luxury. Absolutely a great start to a weekend!
ReplyDeleteHave a cozy Sunday!
Crunchy snow and bacon and eggs.....Mmmm lovely!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than sitting in a greasy spoon cafe having a full English whilst it's raining cats and gogs outside!
I like that photo, and a ood breakfast like that is a great way to start anyday, but especially one with cold and snow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit; I think it is pronounced "meem".
-18°C is cold! Going out for breakfast is a luxury to be enjoyed (often!) :)
ReplyDeleteCooo thats looks fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI scrolled down to this and as soon as I saw it just had to sigh out loud. It's so lovely, that sedum in the snow. Amazing, isn't it, how even that which is fallen and blanketed in cold can be beautiful?
ReplyDeleteL.L.: fallen and blanketed in cold, but that blanket is keeping the heart warm, and waiting for spring.
