Tea Party Time

There was a Tea Party and Wedding Shower in the back yard this weekend.
Raspberry Mousse White Chocolate cake from the Italian Bakery.... need I say more?

Gifts, laughter, friends meeting friends, a celebration of the happy couple. Less than two months to go until The Big Day.
And one of the Guests of Honour slept right through all the fun!

Well, you can't blame her, Wendydog had her 13th birthday a couple of weeks ago. Far too much excitement for an old lady.

  5. If your older son is coming to the party, make sure to warn everyone that he likes to play little tricks. I would love to take him with me to the escalators sometimes, just to see the faces, the riders and his.

  8. They are truly a beautiful couple!! It looks like ya'll had so much fun, too! You must be so proud. In fact, I can tell that you are. :) Happy Shower to the cute couple!
PS: we've had our volvo for 12 years. My husband plays hockey so it fits his gear perfectly. And I have to admit that it's far more comfortable for long drives than my car.

  9. Wendy looks good for her age!

And speaking of looks - the young couple could be models for those groom and bride figurines on top of the wedding cake! Too cute ;-)

  11. Beautiful couple, and beautiful dog, too! It looks like a wonderful afternoon...!

As to your comment: I agree with you on the mix of Nominees in that category...I think that is why there can be more than ONE Winner...! Also, Prince's time on Camera was less than 13 minutes....and the Academy Awards were over three hours long....BUT, that is what was voted on previous to these "finals"...!

  13. We always think that the best thing to do at a party is to sleep through it, it's what they are for.
Many thanks for visiting our cat paradise. She used to go on holiday in Devon, many years ago before She had cats, to Torcross, and there She fell in love with a ruined village at Hallsands.
We have a party on Saturday as it is Hannah's 13th birthday. She is kind to cats and we all love her.

  16. I know how exciting this has got to be for you all, Ex-S. Just the other day we booked our flights to Hawaii for the June 1 wedding coming up for us. It makes it feel like it'll be here before we know it!

That Wendy is a loverdog. She's adorable.

  22. Wendydog might be the smartest one in the group. I guess she has seen it all.

Still, had she woke up she would have had a piece of that cake.

Very nice photography and an interesting post.
