Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.
This looks like a delightful tea party with lots of loving friends. This will be a wonderful wedding and life for the newlyweds.Love the picture of the sleeping honored guest.
looks like a fun time, thats a nice Looking dog too!
Big Cake and a cracking big Hat... it's a honour to have shared a small part of the day by looking in here.
Thanks for commenting and for visiting me over here in 'Wigger's World' May I just say the next to the last picture is great, that laugh is so natural and I couldn't help but smile at the happyness on show... there you are you made me into a 'big softy' now.
If your older son is coming to the party, make sure to warn everyone that he likes to play little tricks. I would love to take him with me to the escalators sometimes, just to see the faces, the riders and his.
What a lovely celebration. The cake looks delicious!Marie x
What a wonderful looking couple...happy, in love and smiling. Wendydog has earned her naps for sure.
They are truly a beautiful couple!! It looks like ya'll had so much fun, too! You must be so proud. In fact, I can tell that you are. :) Happy Shower to the cute couple!PS: we've had our volvo for 12 years. My husband plays hockey so it fits his gear perfectly. And I have to admit that it's far more comfortable for long drives than my car.
Wendy looks good for her age!And speaking of looks - the young couple could be models for those groom and bride figurines on top of the wedding cake! Too cute ;-)
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh! I'll get me hat ready!
Beautiful couple, and beautiful dog, too! It looks like a wonderful afternoon...!As to your comment: I agree with you on the mix of Nominees in that category...I think that is why there can be more than ONE Winner...! Also, Prince's time on Camera was less than 13 minutes....and the Academy Awards were over three hours long....BUT, that is what was voted on previous to these "finals"...!
You always make me hungry when I visit, first jam, and now a wonderful cake, mmmmmm mmm. I think I need to go and make my dinner.
Looks like a grand day.
We always think that the best thing to do at a party is to sleep through it, it's what they are for. Many thanks for visiting our cat paradise. She used to go on holiday in Devon, many years ago before She had cats, to Torcross, and there She fell in love with a ruined village at Hallsands. We have a party on Saturday as it is Hannah's 13th birthday. She is kind to cats and we all love her.
I love the top hat and the crown. What fun to be planning a wedding!!!I wish them all the happiness life can offer!!!!!!
Really looks like a nice couple! Sometimes you would like to be a bit younger! (I'm not yet sleeping as the dog when invited to parties.)
I know how exciting this has got to be for you all, Ex-S. Just the other day we booked our flights to Hawaii for the June 1 wedding coming up for us. It makes it feel like it'll be here before we know it!That Wendy is a loverdog. She's adorable.
What a lovely day you had - yummy cake!! Not long now! Are we going to get a peek at your outfit (one of them?!!)Sue

Wendydog might be the smartest one in the group. I guess she has seen it all.Still, had she woke up she would have had a piece of that cake. Very nice photography and an interesting post.
Wendydog is totally adorable. And so are the bride and groom-to-be.
