Gone missing..... Florida sunshine

The moment we arrived here, it started to rain and gale force winds are making it difficult to stay upright.
The surf is high but there's no surfing today, not on this beach anyway.

It's all to do with Tropical Storm Noel. An unwelcome visitor, in my opinion.

I understand that Noel created a lot of damage over the Caribbeans. How has this year been in Florida so far with regard to hurricanes?

I hope the weather clears up for you soon!

After it blows through, your shelling may be better than it would have otherwise.

Hi everyone, sorry I can't reply individually right now.
I think Florida has escaped hurricane damage so far this year, and Noel won't hit the Florida coast, it's supposed to veer off into the Atlantic but we will feel the effects of the wind and rain. And Tut-tut... not sure about the shelling but I could collect TONS of seaweed and, sadly, a huge collection of plastic garbage junk that has been washed up onto the beach. Humans are a messy bunch.
