Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

High Seas
The Space Cadet has been out with his camera.
The wind and rain should give way to sunshine by the weekend, according to the TV weather people, but what do they know? Are they ever right? Stay tuned, I'll let you know.
REPLY ALL: Xtreme: If you had to put up with a c-c-c-cold Canadian winter every year, you'd want to be south too. And the current $ exchange rate suits me just fine. We used to have to add mega bucks to everything to cover the exchange rate, but now I'm treating the $ at par! Peter: Naples and Isabella are on SW Florida coast on the Gulf side, we are at Ormond Beach, just N of Daytona Beach on the Atlantic side. That's why Tropical Storm Noel is having an effect on our current weather. TV Weather man is still saying better weather for the weekend, but I don't trust him! But I have to say that watching the huge waves hit the beach is pretty spectacular!
Fantastic photo - even if it isn't what you were hoping to be showing us. Looking on the bright side I suppose you are seeing some spectacular sights you never expected to see. Doesn't help though, does it!!
Let's hope the weather man is right and the weekend brings all the sun and heat you were hoping to enjoy.
Shoot Ex! Tropical storms where you are, earthquakes where I live, what's going on? Well, stay safe ok! The photos are pretty cool despite the chaos of the seas. PS when I was in seattle, my cousin said many vancouverites were traveling south to enjoy the exchange rate.
Lovely photos...but wot is it with you Canadians going south all the time? Your dollars must be worth LOTS more than ours!!!
ReplyDeleteI know its not sunshine but the weather makes spectacular photos. Nice perspective with the rope walkway.
ReplyDeleteI agree photowannabe! Keeping my fingers crossed for better weather for you.
ReplyDeleteAre you far from Naples? Isabella seems always to have nice weather!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot it still looks really wild weather wise, hope the weather people are correct for a change.
ReplyDeleteExcellent photographs
ReplyDeleteHope the weather clears up for you!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are wonderful. Click, click and I'm there..
Ditto on Photowannabe's comment...great photo.
