Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.
The sun always shines through these old stained glass windows, no matter what the weather.
What a great way to start the week, looking through your beautiful windows!
Isn't that gorgeous! :)
Lucky you to have such a window!
What a beautiful window. The colors must be magnificent no matter how the light streams in. Lucky you!!
I'd love something as unique as this window.. I love the 3 rabbits running.
That's a stunningly lovely window, like living in a holy place with all that stained glass.
I caught up with the wedding pix...what a glorious bride and handsome groom. You looked like your own ray of blue sky and sunshine. no hat needed.Your window is beautiful.
With the turning of the leaves, I see that you have fantastic colors inside and out.
I'm so envious in a good way! I love stained glass windows. And those beautiful trees to look at also.
What a fantastic window! Awesome infact!Dxx
REPLY ALL:Thank you for your kind words. The windows date from the 1890s when the house was built. When I moved here, the windows were in very poor shape, so I decided to fix them myself.... too expensive to get someone else to do it. So I learned how to do stained galss work, and took them apart, replaced all the broken glass and re-leaded the windows. I have windows like this in 4 rooms.

If I ever have my own house I will put in stained glass windows because I adore it so. I must say your autumn leaves outside the window are just as picturesque as the glass!
That's so beautiful, I love stained glass, are you going to show us the others?
What a wonderful view through a wonderful window
