Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.

Looking out
The view through my dining room window.
The sun always shines through these old stained glass windows, no matter what the weather.
REPLY ALL: Thank you for your kind words. The windows date from the 1890s when the house was built. When I moved here, the windows were in very poor shape, so I decided to fix them myself.... too expensive to get someone else to do it. So I learned how to do stained galss work, and took them apart, replaced all the broken glass and re-leaded the windows. I have windows like this in 4 rooms.
If I ever have my own house I will put in stained glass windows because I adore it so. I must say your autumn leaves outside the window are just as picturesque as the glass!
What a great way to start the week, looking through your beautiful windows!
