The neighbourhood Birding store.
Bird seed, bird feeders, bird books, this store can supply anything you require to do with wildlife.

A big black crow keeps a vigil on the sign every day. I'll let you into a little secret.... he's not real! How do I know? A little bird told me!

  2. Dennis is lazy, too--can they deliver the birds?

  3. We don't need bird feed stores here in NYC. That's not to say we don't have birds. In fact, in every neighborhood, there is a crazy bat of an old woman feeding the pigeons day old bread. The City and Parks Department discourages pigeon feeding because of the pigeon poo but that doesn't stop them.

  4. We have a bird feeder and it's fun to watch them come and go. They like our front yard. Saw a beautiful Blue Jay just the other day.

Of course I'd think your habitat there is top notch for birds and bird watching.

  8. what a great idea for a store! you canadians...you have some of the BEST STUFF!! i saw a bird song book in one of our local bookstores here not long ago. it had photos and audio recordings of the various birds that visit these parts. i've wanted something like this since my implant started picking up the songs of all the birds who visit the tree outside my bedroom window. i can recognize the cardinal even if i can't see it, but that's about it so far.

  9. Oh man, I really have been a bit useless of late. I'm very sorry to have missed you when you came to London - it would have been nice to have met you. I will try and make myself a half-year's resolution to be more conscientious with my blogging and blog-reading.

Kiki is often wet and we have a pleasant moment together, when I take a towel and try to dry her by rubbing with towel. I have to say, that Kiki enjoy more than I do especially after she has been shaking remainder of water all over the room :)
I got your email address from wordpress, now I will send to you photos about Melli !

  16. I used to have a bird feeder but now there are so many cats in and around my garden, I have stopped enticing them in my garden. Such a shame as I love seeing them.
