C: Hi, they told me that you're my new cousin. My name's Callum, What's yours?
I: Mummy said it's Isaac
C: What?
I: IIIIIIIIsaaac
C: Did you say EYES? I know that word.... (thinks... Well, he did say eyes, didn't he?) so he pokes Isaac in the eye... just to be helpful and show him where his eyes are, of course.... new cousins don't always know these things....
oh well.... nice to meet ya, cuz....
Awwwww they are both so gorgeous. You must be bursting! :)
ReplyDeleteAwwwww from me too. What precious little guys....eyes and Issac too.
ReplyDeleteI need to be around some babies to get my Grandma fix. Love my grandkids but they are 5,9,13, and 14.
How did your time with Tessa go? I thought about her when Snicker was over here for Father's Day and she found a golpher hole. Now we have A HOLE! oh well it can be fixed.
You asked what the "Mine Shaft" was made of. First molds were made (don't ask, I don't know how they did it...not my expertise...then they poured a mixture that is like styrofoam and then sculpted it, airbrushed it and attached it to timber. Believe it or not, one of the men has a sawmill and a group went to his property, felled some trees, hewed them into heavy mine shaft timber. They saved a ton of money doing it that way and its really the Real thing. Amazing guys.
If you look at the website I put on my last post you can go to the gallery that shows the prep for the whole week. Pretty fascinating.
AWWWWWW from me too. two little cuties, ouchhhh poor Isaac getting a poke in the eye,
ReplyDeleteHow adorable. I am proud for you!
ReplyDeleteAdorable boys....Callum will be a good buddy to Isaac....someday.
ReplyDeleteNot always easy for the elder to do the right thing. I'm at least four or five years older than all of my cousins, and I know I probably did them an unintended disservice or two :-)
ReplyDeleteI guess they will become really good friends... soon! :-)
ReplyDeletegiggle giggle! so cute and funny, too!
ReplyDeleteHe poked him in they eye?? Ouch. It's a little bit funny, but ouch. My youngest daughter, sweet thing that she is, scratched my cornea with her razor sharp fingernails when she was less than a year old. Who would have thought that we'd need safety goggles to handle these little angels?!
ReplyDeleteSweetie-pies, that's what they are!! You must be so proud! Babies bring such joy!
ReplyDeleteJust think about the life ahead of them! Buddies to the very end. :)
ReplyDeletegorgeous children. give isaac a little time....he looks like he'll be able to take care of himself with the cousin....smile
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing this photo, shammy
Cute picture! I can't get over you being in Ivanhoe! We are only 20 minutes drive from there. I smiled at your comment about our gum trees - they are indeed uniquely Australian, aren't they! Although I believe they grow well in many other countries, but they still LOOK better here.. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI bet they'll grow up to be great friends. It's wonderful when cousins are so close in age.
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww from me too, but what did you expect? ;-) That story made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to everyone.
