We were biking along Beach Street which runs along the edge of the Intracoastal Waterway, when, "What's happened up ahead? Look at all those flashing lights!"
Uhoh. Somebody took the curve a little too fast. He was well and truly at sea.
Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.
RutRoh! He does look unbothered, though. Maybe he's got a lot of extra $?
ReplyDeleteI hate when that happens!
ReplyDeleteAt least he didn't hit and kill somebody! He's a cutie.
ReplyDeleteAre you still in Florida or back home? I left Virginia Saturday morning and got home yesterday afternoon. It's good to be home again, even though I miss seeing Ella already. We did indeed have a good time together.
I hope he had a "good excuse" for this. Talking on the cellphone is perhaps not one? The insurance company may not be that willing to pay spontaneously?

Yikes, that looks like a hard way to have a carwash.
ReplyDeleteI agree that its going to be an expensive lesson for the young man.
Oh no! such a nice truck!
ReplyDeleteThat's one expensive cell phone call.
ReplyDeleteOh MY! When will people learn to pay attention, total attention, to their driving?
ReplyDeleteHe looks young. I wonder if that was Daddy's truck. If so, he might make the newspaper twice this week. First for wreckless driving, and the second time... check the obituaries!!!
ReplyDeleteOops... I mean "reckless."
ReplyDeleteYouth.....no common sense sometimes
ReplyDeleteOhhhh - I do hope he had insurance!! That looks mighty expensive.
ReplyDeleteIt must be nice not to worry about losing one's truck into the river.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so young! MAN! Does he even feel responsible...or is he really masking it well!?!
