Open House

The agent organised an Open House yesterday. 14 families came through to see the house, which was pretty good as it was 29C here and a holiday Monday (can you believe we still celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday here in Canada?). Some of them were neighbours just having a look, and I'm hoping some were genuinely interested in buying.

Meanwhile, the garden centres are teeming with enthusiastic gardeners checking out the new crop of flowers and veggies and bushes and trees. Funny to think that only a couple of weeks ago, I woke up to snow, and now it's hot Hot HOT!

I'm sure there were a few nosey parkers, but sometimes they tell someone who is looking.

Ah, these archaic public holidays. We have Boxing Day too and that confuses the Yanks.

29c "hot". Goodness, that's a cool change here. I know what you mean though, you probably skipped the thaw part.

You have a beautiful house, I hope it sells quickly. Have you any idea where you would like to go?

I took the virtual tour. You have an absolutely stunning home. Where will you move to? Smaller? Closer to your children/sons? I would love to live in an older home like yours....only smaller.

Hi,
What a big decision but it is one of those things that when you are ready ... you are ready.
I wish you all the best luck, I am sure it will be a quick sale ... it is lovely.

I sure don't want to move again. 3 years ago we were so ready and now we have deep roots again. Wishing you all the best.

It's a year later from when we had our house up for sale in Atlanta, Sham, and I'm guessing the housing climate is a bit better. I am putting out all my good vibes for a speedy sale. Hang in there!

Hope you got some serious buyers there.
That is a lovely picture! Spring is my favorite season of the year---new growth and everything NEW waking up and blooming after a cold cold winter.
