Music Mania is over for another year... the 50th year to be exact.
I'm happy to get back to doing normal everyday chores, like cutting the grass and weeding the flower beds. And every time the phone rings, it isn't someone wanting show tickets, or asking about costumes, or scheduling a rehearsal.
And yet.... I'm sorry it's over. It's a lot of fun and we certainly do become a "Music Mania Family" after planning the show since last summer, and rehearsing song, dance and comedy since January.
We'll be staging a Christmas show in December. Last year our Christmas show was a huge success so I'd better start thinking snowflakes and elves.
And on a completely unrelated note.... it's Star Wars Day today.
May the Fourth be with you!
thanks for popping by my blog and commenting, I really apprecitate it.....

Well, you all look like stars. It sounds like no wars though, thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up, Sham! Life is never dull for you, which is why I love seeing whatever you're up to next, even if it's slowing down and doing nothing!
ReplyDeleteBTW, Happy Mother's Day!
I bet you are a little tired from all that one has to do to "put on a show", but....missing it too, of course. It sure is fun, isn't it? Even though it is an incredible amount of work....And now, on to The Christmas Show and next years Music Mania, 51!
ReplyDeleteLove the Fourth be with you...
ReplyDeleteSure wish I could see your fabulous shows. You really put a lot of energy into them.
Take some well deserved rest in the mean time though.
