Colours of Winter

Winter landscape can be dull and monotone, almost a black and white world.... until you look a little closer.

  1. Lovely photo, ex-S. You've captured the best of the seasons in one shot.

  2. Oh yes. It's a winter wonderland somewhere, I'm sure. Not here in Amsterdam, sad to say. :(

    I LOVE your photo!

  4. A nice shot. We're almost springlike here. No sign of frost or snow.

  5. Gorgeous! It looks like a fine marriage of autumn and winter with those warm hues. Or perhaps a tease of spring?

  6. Beautiful! I love how the sun tickles some of the leafs and brightens the evergreen.

I've been catching up on my blog reading and found I missed some great posts of your Scottish night. It looks like a fun event and the food looks yummy... I'd be the first to give haggis a try! Thanks for sharing the the Burns poem.. 'Great Chieftain of the pudding race' just tickles me..and I was glad to find out why the Scotts are so sturdy..the benefits of haggis:)
We've just enjoyed watching the last of the TV series 'Hamish McBeth' on DVD. Fun strff..
