Random ramblings from the cluttered brain of a Brit ex-pat North Devonian trying to keep cool in the steamy summers and warm in the frosty winters of The Great White North.
Are you worried about me? I haven't posted since NaBloPoMo ended, but I have every intention of doing so shortly (tomorrow?). Christmas, work, etc. getting the better portion of me these days.
Wot kinda horses are they? Also, how much do horses eat every day? somebody here (in washing, DC, world capitol of knowitallism) say she thinks it costs more to feed a horse than it does to put gas in a little car. gee.
Why is it that we associate horse drawn sleighs with Christmas even now, when most of us haven't ever ridden in one. Old ideas still remain vibrant, right?
This photo just says Christmas and winter wonderlands..I really like the composition and the wagon ride must have been just as much fun as a sleigh ride, (well, almost...)
Charming picture! These two look quite elegant in their gear...!
One walks very very careful amongst those spiky plants..And you toucg very carefully too....It isn't too hard, I must say....and there are so very many BEAUTIFUL beings there....A Joy To Behold, and Photgraph!
They look really good, Adam now has his seasonal tinsel on, I will try and get a picture tomorrow.
xtremeenglish- depends on how much gas you put in your car - Adam cost me about £8 per day at this time of year and drops down to about £6 in the summer - also his insurance costs me more than my car does!!!!
Hi, Two beautiful horses,(not like the one's on Martins blog) Are they really pulling a sled(sleigh)?.
ReplyDeleteBob, they were pulling a wagon with a cargo of mums, dads, and kids, not enough snow on the roads for a sleigh. Gorgeous aren't they?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo, very well captured.
ReplyDeleteYou say your Uncle name of Chandler had a shop here in Grantham, would that shop be called " The Little Dustpan??"
Hardware shop.
looks like fun!

ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, would like just a little snow would make a change to all the rain
ReplyDeleteIt would have been nice if they had been pulling a sleigh.
