Colours

Outside, it's been so cold and windy, and everything is painted in black and white and grey. Typical February weather in Ontario. It seems that I haven't set eyes on green grass for so long. I miss it!

So when my former neighbours came for lunch and brought me these lovely flowers, the world brightened up considerably. I'm really looking forward to Spring.

  3. I brought my partner some tulips for her birthday/valentines day (I know I'm a cheapskate!). The touch of colour really was beautiful.

I also saw a snowdrop in a hedgerow the other day. It was a little splash of beauty that made my day a little happier.

  6. Green grass everywhere here and that's unheard of in February. Nature has gone off the rails.

  9. We've been blessed with amazing weather the past 2 weeks, you should have been here. But the rain is coming back this week. Might have to get a bouquet of beautiful spring flowers like this one to make it though the week.
