Spot the Spelling Mistake
Every time I pass this store, my eye goes right to the spelling mistake.
I sure hope it is owned by somebody named Card and they aren't using an apostrophe incorrectly. Naturally I saw the spelling mistake right away. :-) Sign makers - use a spell checker!
Hmmmmm. I have no doubt I'm seeing the one you speak of (much as Hilary did, so you know which one I'm talking about and I still don't give it totally away) but I sure as heck don't see two. I wonder what Ginnie thinks the second one might be?
Right out in front of the water hardner shop. ;)
ReplyDeleteActually, I see two, Sham. :)
ReplyDeleteTWO? I'm missing the second one.
ReplyDeleteHeehee I love Hilary's remark.

ReplyDeleteYes, FYI, the shop is owned by the Card family. So "Card's Appliances" is the correct use of the apostrophe.
ReplyDelete$689 for water softener? That would softn your wallet!

ReplyDeleteIsn't is "softener"?? Or, maybe I am totally wrong....Though, That is what leapt out at me--Immediately!
ReplyDeletewe too have a "softner" in our house!!! I don't see a second mistake though?
ReplyDeleteGill
"Softner" is the first mistake.
ReplyDeleteThen,"TV and appliances" occurs on the small sign as "TV & appliances."
Not exactly a mistake, but the spelling is inconsistent.
Can't read the dark lettering, but there may be a mistake in there, too..."stoer"? should that be "store"?
