England Part VII - A Really Big Boat

The Independence of the Seas was in port in Southampton.
She's HUGE!

4375 passengers.
1360 crew members.
3580 cabins and suites.

5 bars, 4 elevators, 3 swimming pools, 9 hole miniature golf course, ice skating rink, and a full size boxing ring..

You can even get married on board.

    I'm not sure I would want to be on such a HUGE Ship...If something were to happen....Well, you know what I mean?

  3. They do get some huge ships in dock...in fact I used to work for the former National Dock Labour Board as a Secretary in Southampton, so you have been on my home ground:)

  5. We came very close to booking a cruise for our anniversary this year, but finally decided on a trip to New Orleans, instead. Damn, that's a big ship!

  6. This sounds like a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Sham, and if so, I know basically what it's all about, as you know by now. Lately I've been down-sizing, however.... :)

  8. Tee-hee, we used to call those ships the __ of Disease. They're great ships though, like being in the West Edmonton Mall!
