I went to an antique and classic car show this weekend... lots of beautifully restored old cars, fancy hot rods costing thousands, lots of "as is" cars, and one "rat rod".
The body had been left as it was found in the barn, rusty and blemished, but the engine had been restored and was in pristine condition, probably cleaner that when this old banger was brand new.
I loved the license plate.
It certainly saves on expensive body work and paint jobs.
I like the ratrod.
ReplyDeleteSomeone has told me that red hair will disappear in the next 100 years. I don't know if it's tru.
What a great car! I LOVE the License Plate, too....lol! I love that the insides have been completely restored---Wouldn't you like to have a ride in it?
ReplyDeleteLove that the owner decided to keep the outside as is.
ReplyDeleteLove it - it would be great to take that on the road and burn up fancy looking cars...
ReplyDeleteI like the look of that old car you chose to showcase!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the license plate...AND the "as is" look of the car. FABULOUS! And what a photo op.
ReplyDeleteThat's truly cool. And I love the idea that you wouldn't have to worry every second you're driving it about getting a little scrape or something.
ReplyDeleteThat's a clever license plate! On the flip side, there was a high end car show a couple of hours from here. No we didn't go, but my girlfriend's husband was working there. She came up to visit for a few days with her son while her husband worked. But a car sold for the most one has ever sold for, $27.9 million. YIKES!
ReplyDelete"Fordabul" indeed! Old cars used to be such fun to drive and ride in! You could fix them yourself, too!
