We've already had the first snowfall here in Southern Ontario, but it's all melted and disappeared now. Thank goodness! But it will be back sooner than we think.
I needed new snow tires this year, the old ones didn't have much life in them after 8 winters, so my very helpful YoungerSon organised them and now I have spiffy new wheels ready for the winter. No pics, you'll just have to imagine how nice they are.
And I've been painting. I'll post some of the pictures from time to time. Here's the first.
I vaguely remember snow tires from my youth in Minnesota. I do remember they were a pain to get on and off, though! But so necessary at times. Shammy, you are a true artiste. I absolutely love this painting. It's creative, with great colors and super shadows. Hopefully, I'll still be alive when you become world famous and I can tell people, "I knew that woman way back when!"
ReplyDeleteLove the shadows! Great job!
ReplyDeleteSuper painting, very nice indeed. Happy November to you too!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! You are very talented.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting! Indeed talented.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your painting. And would happily hang it on my walls too.
ReplyDeleteYou are very, very talented.
A beautiful painting!
ReplyDeleteI like the painting, and I don't like snow tires. I want to wait until at least mid month.
ReplyDeleteWe don't need snow tyres over here, the country grinds to a halt with just a sprinkling of snow!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it nice having helpful sons ☺ Shammi I really love this painting, looking forward to seeing lots more of you work ✨
ReplyDeleteWell, my dear, I have no idea if whatever needs a truss or a stress test or anything else. Where dost thou come into such esoteric knowledge? I just thought they were fun photos! :)
ReplyDeleteIt does look strange. I think it's to accommodate a window.
ReplyDeleteMost attractive painting! Haven’t had little ones in neighborhood going door-to-door for years, so am not troubled with leftovers. Mostly families have private parties their children go to. Seemed to have started years ago when occasional reports around the country of contaminated treats being foisted off on children though no such problem in our town. My Superhero grandson in mid U.S. (I live on West Coast) sent me video as he went out to collect his loot.
ReplyDeleteI don’t miss snow tires from when I lived in snow country. Never had to use chains since not a mountainous area.
