It's been snowing for two days now. Yesterday morning my driveway was filled with heavy wet snow about 8 or 9 inches deep in places. The bushes were bent double with the weight of the snow so I went out to rescue them before the branches broke. But they look just as bad this morning as it's been snowing in the night.

Most of it will be gone by tonight.... supposed to be a mild melty day. Hurry up, Spring!
Love this photos, it all looks so pretty. I expect everything keeps working as normal when all that snow comes down, but here everything would grind to a standstill!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, Shammickite!
ReplyDeleteYour house looks beautiful!
Beautiful, but this HAS been a long winter...
ReplyDeleteBrrrr! I won't be visiting this week.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! It's been so warm and sunny on this side of the continent. Hope your melty day doesn't cause flooding, that's what happens in the mountains here when there's so much snow on the ground and there's a quick melt.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a busy February, weather-wise. The good thing about a snowfall this late in the season is that it really can't last too long. I hope. Lovely pics, Shammie.
ReplyDeleteWe were blessed to have been missed by the last storm predicted to hit us (some predictions said 8 inches, but we had no more than strong winds and some rain.)
ReplyDeleteGod bless! I hope you built a snowman!
I know it is a drag...BUT, it all looks like a Winter Wonderland----TRULY BEAUTIFUL! Beautiful Pictures, my dear!
ReplyDeleteIt did melt off the trees very quickly, didn't it?
ReplyDeleteOoo, these made me shiver just looking at the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI hope Spring has finally sprung.
Sorry its been so long since I dropped by.
life does get in the way at times. (:0)
If your weather is doing anything like ours here in the Netherlands, all your snow is probably melted by now and you may even be seeing some buds?! Well, for one week only, however. It's supposed to be colder again next week.... (stay tuned).
