The Young at Art

The current exhibition at our small Art Gallery features the artwork of students at some of the local elementary schools. Obviously creativity is alive and well with our young people. And congratulations to the teachers who guide them and give them opportunity to express themselves.

Update on our Art Show and Sale last weekend: I sold 6 paintings! I was very surprised and very happy. The weather was good, we had electricity the whole weekend, not like last year's disaster with the power cut. And we had more than 300 people through the door over the whole weekend, a great total for an amateur Art Show held in a rural Commnunity Hall with the only access up a muddy lane! But the weekend was not without it's share of drama. I parked on the grass and got stuck in the mud and had to be pushed out. Many thanks to my brawny rescuers!
